The gated entry provided a sense of security despite the surrounding chaos outside.
Had to check-in outdoors at a small customer window, making it uncomfortable especially due to the vagrants nearby.

This hotel was by far the worst hotel that I've ever stayed at. I would never, in 1,000,000 years, stay at this hotel again. The staff was rude. No room service. They would not even give me tells the next day. If you're traveling to this area please spend a little extra money and go to a different hotel.
Everything.

the hotel had a mildew odor and the ceiling had noticable patch work from leak in ceiling.

The gated entry provided a sense of security.
The overall cleanliness was horrendous. I found the floors unkempt and covered in filth, and there was a persistent unpleasant smell in the room. Service was lacking as staff appeared disengaged, which compounded my frustrations .

I liked its large and good rooms.
Booked a room with jacuzzi bath. A microwave oven and a fridge were a huge plus. Everyone who worked there was helpful. Location: the hotel was close to restaurants & fast food locations, and Bakersfield. What's more, there was Wilson Park just a pleasant stroll away from the venue...

Clean, Convenient, Cozy
I stayed in a King Room Non-Smoking and it blew me away! The room was clean, spacious, and featured a full-size refrigerator and a big-screen TV-perfect for unwinding after a long day. Plus, the shower had amazing water pressure, giving me that luxurious spa feel right in my room!
totally recommend 🥰🏨

would stay here again
The king room was really clean and spacious. I had air conditioning and a tv. The fridge was perfect for snacks, and the private bathroom had great hot water. There was also a coffee machine and free toiletries. Plus, the gated parking felt secure. Staff was nice when I needed help with check-in.

The motel is easy to access, just one block off the 99 freeway. The room was large and everything worked well. The continental breakfast was excellent. I love Belgian waffles. Also, with two blocks in any direction there are countless restaurants and fast-food places, and no shortage of gas stations. We bought gas for less in this area than anywhere we stayed on our trip. And contrary to what one critic said, you cannot hear any freeway traffic.
This motel used to be a Comfort Inn, but is not maintained as well as it was under prior ownership. The parking lot needs to be resurfaced, although that did not affect our ability to use it and park right in front of our room. The room could use a little sprucing up. I noticed some paint peeling in a corner of the bathroom.

When I got there no one was at the front desk they had a bell so I pressed it and owner/manager . walked out and the phone rang so she pick up the phone. Not one time did she say hello or ill be right with you, all I can say it was rude so I left went to grab something to eat then went back once again no one was at the front desk so I press the bell and a you boy comes out and does my reservation no problem learning the family biznes and was very nice then I go to my room and I open the door and oh my gosh the room was nasty it smelt like a bum was living in there bad pee smell I went back down and mind you this I have a 2 yrs in the car wanting to get out and I tell my husband what I walked into so I went back to the office and told them that I wanted a different room and the you boy says ok so he gives me a different room but the security latch is broke which isn't good with a child that ca open door and it is against the law not to have them on. The fan in the restroom doesn't work and there were two microwaves one work and one didn't and the tv remote was gone. When I booked the reservation online I expected thing to work and be in the room or have available to rent like a child's or roll away bed because I only booked for one bed.i have stayed in a lot of hotels in my life time and I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life my husband wouldn't even leave me there alone just because of the people waking around the place I got fed up so I called booking.
